Stoke City v Tottenham Hotspur
Can Spurs do it on a wet Monday night at Stoke?
Title pretty much over if they don't

To be fair to Leicester they have a fraction of the resources of Spurs and have had to adapt their game once teams finally started taking them seriously.
Early season they were free flowing and playing end to end on the break and now have had to be more solid and take the fewer number of chances they have had.
If they get the most points they deserve it.
Hopefully they do if the alternative is Spurs.

Still say Spurs are the better team and Pochettino has done a fantastic job shipping out all the wasters and moulding a strong skilful young team.
He would be exactly what Man U need given their traditions and if I was them or Man City I'd be paying whatever it takes to get ALLI.
Hopefully Spurs fall short (by the points they lost at UP) and then are decimated in the summer.

Lukaku and Barkley sat on the bench v Southampton & Barkley came on
Presumed they were rested by Ol' Brown Shoes

Doesn't lessen your hate for admitting that Spurs are currently a decent side who play football, as ultimately we're all football fans and can see it with our own eyes.

Wanting them to win the league because they play good football though, is a little bit odd considering the rivalry and should be punished by hanging.

I'm preying their manager is poached and I'd heard before the papers did (well about Bayern anyway) that both Bayern and Real Madrid want Kane, so get in there with a nice offer please for him and Alli and get them back where they belong outside the top 4!

Spurs are playing the best at the moment but I think the last few games and ours especially has blinded people as to how well Leicester have played for the vast majority of the season. If Leicester are where they are via the means most people think they have got there then BFS would have won about 12 premier leagues.

I hate the yids, but I agree with Griffin - they have been the best footballing side for me this season. I fucking hate admitting it too.

What I hate even more is that they have got a great manager, and a young team that could stay together for a fair while.

Re: Stoke City v Tottenham Hotspur
In fairness to Spurs they have been quietly superb for months. Kane and Alli get all the plaudits but the whole team are now excellent and they are on a proper role. They also have a far easier run in than Leicester. I think it will go the wire

To me, this season has also shown the impact even a couple of injuries can have. Leicester and Spurs have been so fortunate to have kept Vardy/mhyraz and Kane/Alli fit all season. Spurs only injury was vertongen , but they bought a great replacement in wimmer

Compare that with our injuries, or Arsenal (withiut Sanchez for half the season plus cazorla, Wilshere and loads of others) or man city (aguero has missed a large chunk, de bruyne's return has seen massive resurgence and of course kompany) and rubbish though LVG has been, Man U have played hand their youth team as they haven't been able to keep a fit defence for two weeks in a row. Even Liverpool have improved massively as players have come back.

I think it's no wonder that the two teams with the most consistent line ups are where they are. Don't get me wrong, in different ways they deserve it in the football they play, they've just taken advantage of how fortunate tgey have been with injuries

I always think of Liverpool fans being more scouse than Everton fans. That's not a good thing.

I see Martinez left Lukaku and Barkley out against Southampton probably with the idea of playing them against Liverpool and Man Utd.
Players need a break sometimes but going into an FA Cup semi final with your best players not having played for 2 weeks wouldn't be ideal.
I think he will go full strength against Liverpool as a dress rehearsal for Man U.
If he loses these two games he is TOAST

Exactly
I understand they have lost one league game in 13 or 14
If they were 2 Pts behind now I think they would be odds on
